Use popcorn for packing instead of foam peanuts.

Unlike foam peanuts, popcorn isn’t made from fossil fuels or harmful chemicals—and can be composted at end of its useful life or fed to birds. You can also use reused—and reusable—boxes, baskets, bags and tins. Old cards can be recycled into gift tags. After the holiday season is over, save your old cards, wrapping paper and packing materials for reuse. If you have Styrofoam packing peanuts left over, you can donate them to the nearest Mail Boxes, Etc. for reuse.
