Refrigerator and Freezer tips
- Thaw only the amount needed for immediate use.
- Thaw according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Thaw in a refrigerator not warmer than 40°F (+4°C).
- Thaw under running potable water not warmer then 70°F (21°C).
- In a microwave oven or conventional cooking equipment, in which case thawing and cooking should be continuous. It may be necessary to allow extra cooking time because the items are frozen.
- Do not refreeze thawed frozen food.
